[Very Hard/Lunatic] [Large] [Challenge] Regina's Adventure

Another large level I started years ago, but only just now found the motivation to complete. Unlike my other Very Hard levels, this one starts out easy, and then slowly climbs in difficulty over the course of 396 screens, culminating in a Very Hard/Lunatic final area. My ultimate goal for the level ended up being to include every object from every bank (except for 255 of course). This means that you will encounter every single enemy in Knytt Stories in this level. Other than that, there's not much story to this level. Just enjoy the scenery and the challenges!

Unfortunately, it doesn't have unique music for most of the level, so it wouldn't get very high marks anyway

How did I miss this by more than a week?

I am really enjoying this level. But now I'm stuck after meeting Karel. He told me to journey to the clouds and gave further instructions. I have tried several locations, but don't know where the journey to the clouds should take me before I follow his instructions. Please tell me where I should go in the clouds.

I have the umbrella. I go to the location above Karel (see jpg below). I follow Karel's instructions "right, down, left, left, down, left, up, down" by going to the screen to the right, then to the screen down from that, then to the screen to the left, etc. I know I must be interpreting something wrong because I don't get to Karel's village.
