Knytt Stories Ex freezing problems

I have what (I think?) is the latest version of KSex - 1.5.8 - and sometimes the game will just freeze and I can't do anything in it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but it doesn't help. Does anyone know what's wrong? I stream it using OBS so I don't know if OBS is the problem or what.

Anyone have any ideas? This is seriously getting on my nerves

Never used OBS, but searching for OBS game freezing issues on Google brings up a few results. Can you try playing KSEx directly and see if it freezes that way as well?

I don't use OBS and I still have this problem.
