Tilesets with more than one variation?
« on: April 11, 2012, 01:30:37 »
I'm looking for tilesets that have at least one remix of them. I know there's a couple in the default tilesets, but does anybody know where I can find more of them?

There are a bunch of tileset remixes in levels I've worked on that. You probably about them already, but feel free to use them.

In 9 days, Custom Tileset 4 is a remix of Custom Tileset 3, and additionally both are fairly compatible with Default Tileset 87 and Default Tileset 162.
In Oh Man Go Time, Custom Tileset 1 is a remix of Default Tileset 109. Default Tileset 181 is another variation.
In Rainy Day Adventure, Custom Tileset 246 is a remix of Custom Tileset 0, and Custom Tileset 5 is a (loose) remix of Custom Tileset 7.

Well, I did remix of tileset "Tale of Two Castles", beacuse I'm using this tileset in my level. "Tale of Two Castles" has a lot of shortcomings, so my tileset fixes them. It will be downloadable after release of "The Trap of Lightning", but if you realy want it PM me ;).
EDIT: It's Default Tileset 3.

Actually, I'm more looking for cosmetic variations on the same tileset. Thanks for the offer, though; it always did bug me how the corners in that tileset were off.

Sergio: I'll definitely look into using your 9 Days tilesets, but OMGT's tileset not really what I'm looking for, and the variations between the two Rain Day tilesets are really subtle, which now that I mention it isn't really a bad thing, but I also need some tilesets where the differences are really obvious as well. Maybe I could convince you to do another remix on that tileset?

I'm pretty sure you could. What did you have in mind?

Oh...I'm a bit late...but...can I apply to this tileset remix action too?
I haven't done any tilesets lately, so I'd like to help out here :D

(I not intend to mess sergiocornaga's business though, so if you wanna only one contributor, go for him ^^)

A winter-based remix would be nice.

Grookie: I dunno if I'll use whatever tilesets you make, but you're welcome to make some regardless. In fact, I'll probably look into using some of your earlier tilesets as well.

Here you go! Let me know if any issues arise, I haven't tested it very thoroughly.

Thanks! I dunno when (or if) this'll be completed, but if/when it does, I'll be sure to give you the first look at it.
