Can't Jump

Whenever I play the game I can jump whenever I want as long as I am on the ground. However as soon as I go to a second screen I cannot jump no matter how much I press S. Even if I go to the first screen I still can't jump. I also see that if I touch a wall I can't jump.

Which level are you playing, or is it even happening in the tutorial level?

Any level I play this happens! Now that I think about it, almost every game by Niffla has the same problem! All buttons but the arrow keys are disabled!

Which OS + version are you using? How are you playing the game? Can you give me a step-by-step instruction of what you did/do?

1. Windows 7
2. and 3. I started by extracting the folders onto my desktop, I opened the folder and double clicked the game. I clicked play then clicked on tutorial. I clicked file 1 and new game. I moved to the right after seeing what the sign said, I got to the second sign and it told me press S to jump. I pressed S but nothing happened.
P.S.: I found out the jump is disabled after about 30 seconds of starting the game.

Is it exactly 30 seconds? or is it perhaps after x key presses?

This could be caused by sticky keys or something similar. (See disabled options in control panel)

1. not exactly 30 seconds
2. No it's not after a certain amount of presses either.
3. I checked the control panel and made sure that sticky keys would never turn on.
