You'll notice a significant contrast in mood between this piece and the other one I have shared.

The first part was an attempt to make my music fit in with the rest of Knytt Stories' music.  It's peaceful sounding.
The second part gets faster and slower and is a repeating/evolving theme inspired by the music of DROD Architect's Edition.  The floating island is going to have windmills and other sorts of stuff (COs) that I think will go great together with the second part of the song.

Oh, and it's in Unusual Paired 2+3 meter.  That means there are 5 beats per measure (as opposed to the regular 4, 3, 6, or 8) and the macrobeats are of unequal length. (BUM bum BUM bum bum, or, in rythm notation, "DO-be DO-ba-bi")

:oops: Oh, yeah, this.  I'm glad to see it is still garnering even a small bit of interest.

I haven't really been working on any KS level as of late (though I have been spending a lot of time on the KS forum).  I do have another level in KS that I'm keeping mostly secret. What I will say about that level right now is that it's quite experimental, and it revolves around a concept that was planned to be a part of this level.  When I get back into level editing, I'll probably work on that instead of this.

I want Bit Knytt to be a very good level, so I want to wait until I have more experience level editing.  Remember that Bit Knytt is the first level I started.  The first rooms I ever made in Knytt Stories are in this level.  In hindsight, I should've started smaller, because I'd estimate that I spent on average about 45 minutes total of work on each room.  It will probably continue to take forever.

I don't really have any desire to work on Bit Knytt right now.  And yet, since I've been keeping the other level a secret, chances are that most people could care less about that one, and would much rather see this one come out.
