Why does the edit button have a kill tile?

Shouldn't the kill tile be on the delete button instead?

that's not the kill tile, it's the icon of KS level editor, as stated (and confirmed) here.

torch red	radical red	(names of the approximately corresponding colours according to this tool)

and when these don't look different to you then you have problems with your eyes and/or your computer screen.

Though it is the same image for both, so you cant really say that it isn't the kill tile. Just that its not supposed to be.

You can! The red in the kill tile is light red (255,35,35) while the colour of the editor icon is more towards pink (248,47,95)

why dont you use the tileset tile to avoid confusion (the blue editor tile )

Or the yellow selection tile

Because this is the first one I came up with and it didn't even occur to me that this confusion could possibly come up. It is not worth changing, too.
