The game is free to play (although you can spend money to gain "flex points", the currency used to create additional players or teams). You start with enough "flex" (400) to build one player and the owner gives out 100 at the end of every season (about 40 days) and on some holidays. I have been playing it for about two months now. I have not paid anything and now have four players. It is a blast, try it out!
