Title: [Quiz/Humor] The Impossible Quiz 2
Post by: Pumpkinbot on May 13, 2009, 07:14:27
This is the sequel to Splapp-Me-Do's famous game, The Impossible Quiz. The game is a series of challenges that are either questions (such as "Where does the general keep his armies?" or "Deal, or no deal?") or quick mini-games that are mostly random and generally odd.
WARNING: This game is for mature audiences due to language, blood, and...stuff...you don't want to see.

This is a great game for a laugh... hope IQ tests aren't like this!

They aren't. Its a big difference between a Quiz and an IQ test.

Hey, we really shouldn't be arguing. Is it that big of a deal? Earlier, yes I was being sarcastic, but I do take IQ quizzes seriously (not that I've ever had one).

I, personally, do not take IQ tests seriously.
I find it hard to believe that one can quantify intellect, especially by taking a single (usually static) quiz.

Back on topic of the game, though, I feel that the "humor" in the game is too nonsensical for my taste (sure, some degree of randomness in humor is fine, but it must be cohesive; the game simply ties together a bunch of attempts at forcing out a giggle), and the game itself only conveys this "humor" through annoying mechanisms such as forcing the player to guess the blatantly wrong answers.

[mod]whew, looks like this thread shrunk quite a bit after splitting and removing off-topic discussion about intelligence, its measurement and the latter's worth. 9_9[/mod]

[mod]oh, and while thanking instead of complaining is appreciated, it's quite doubtable that posts containing a "thank you" will actually help avoiding to be carried away.[/mod]
