Title: [Challenge][normal]The Portable TimeWarp

IT'S OUT!!!

I've been working on this level (my 2nd) for quite a while, and i thought i should relese it for you guys. It's very short, but I tried to give it decent(ish) graphics. During the level you obtain 'The Portable TimeWarp', which allows you to change time period when you press down. If your stuck, walk around and press down a couple of times. The TimeWarp dosn't always work, cuz if it did you would quite often find yourself wallswimming. Expect another level using the same idea coming from me soon(ish)(or not).

I built this level with Knytt Stories Advanced, which is shightly harder, but ive included a version for those who dont have KSA

EDIT: like the others, I found it a bit on the glitchy side. A few shift-on-touch shifts make you appear in insta-die areas...

really cool idea, but its pretty glitchy. examples:

i also didn't like how warping kind of 'tricked' you. like you would warp after passing some obstacle only to land directly on an enemy. and there were no saves in the second mission, which was pretty annoying. i also ran into a couple of shift 'on-touches' which warped you randomly, into a wallswim or an enemy. in my opinion, it was also a little too enemy-crazy, just too much per screen, too much to be able to focus i guess.

i think what would have worked better is to introduce the time manipulation to beat environmental challenges, at least at first, instead of trying to figure out how it works with annoying critters everywhere.

It was OK, but the level was a bit annoying at times. It seemed like, when you desperately needed to timewarp, it wouldn't let you. also, It's glitchy. Some ground is on the background layers, for example. Did you test the level? make sure you do, so you can catch things like that. There is also no indication of when you can timewarp again in the third chapter, so It's a bit confusing. :/

I've started on a new level now, so the update will take some time, but im gonna put a teleporter symbol in the top-left corner in screens where you can use the Timewarp. Might add some tutorial area for the TimeWarp as well... thanks for your opinions guys.

I've still yet to finish it, but it's pretty good so far. I could really use some more save points in the second part though...

I'm not to sure about the music in the past either, it's spooky music in a peaceful grassy place?...Just seems a little odd, that's all. :)

im totally immersed in my new level, and i cant be bothered fixing this one, theres too many bugs etc...
by the way, if you guys are likely to want to download my next level, please get Knytt Stories Advanced, because without the level is a bit boring (not as spooky)
