It keeps on saying:

When I try to upload a avvie for this forum D:

The image isnt even that large, and its a .png D: (see attached pic)

I think the size limit is 100px. Yours is 120px by 100px. Try to make it a bit smaller and try again. :)

Sounds like it. All of mine are 100x100.

You could crop its size in gimp.
Or, maybe you have photoshop? just input 100 for the X axis and the y axis will be changed to match it.

The image replaced to:

does that mean urls are recycled?

Could be, or you stumbled upon a bug on their site.

But indeed, avatars have a max width and height of 100px. Yours exceed it by 20 pixels in width, which is why the forum isn't accepting it.

Because people often don't want that, and for that reason its disabled. Resizing usually looks bad. Especially if it resizes from a smaller image to a large one (that will happen too)
