Title: KS tilesets free to use.
Post by: JanSun on November 18, 2020, 11:33:13
Hello everyone! There are two people behind this username, Janus and Sunatic.

We both love pixel art, and the thing is, we tend to finish tilesets way way faster than we finish levels. Like, so far exactly one finished level (haven't shared it here, just a short practice one.)

So we decided to share some of our tilesets as well as some backgrounds. Just give credit when used.  :)

Edit: Fixed a little thing in Earthy Tones.

Continuing.

How to use the transparent lines tilesets:
Start with the 100% tileset to build your level/screen. The tiles are in exact same positions across the versions, so once you are done, you can switch the tileset within the screen to a transparent version and the structures remain intact, but turn transparent or even invisible!
You can use them to build a level around a background image if you like, or make a very ethereal-feeling screen.

And the last ones for now. I have the sky colours I used for the fields of blocks as separate files as well, would people be interested in those? The default gradients have plenty of sky colours already, so I'm not sure how necessary new ones would be to people.

That's some high quality work. I like to make my own graphics, but I'm definitely looking forward to your levels.

Hey, I've used some of these tilesets recently in my levels Iasthai and Ride the Train to Beck. I'm planning on using even more stuff in my forthcoming levels! These are some of the best tilesets ever made for this game.
