A game with two different perspectives. Depending on which version you play, it's either an online shooter with twitch platformer influences, or a twitch platformer with online shooter influences.
The base game (http://teeworlds.com) comes in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag. Four types of guns are placed throughout the maps, though you start with a hammer and a very useful grappling hook. Obviously this is required in order to install mods. Get skilled at this before trying DDNet!

DDRace Network (http://ddnet.tw) is entirely about platforming with the grappling hook and other weapons, most of which have been heavily modified. It features an entirely different set of maps to accommodate. It's no longer about dealing damage, it's about getting to the end of the level as fast as you can, solo or with a partner.
