Title: Two really quick editor suggestions:
Post by: Wibi on June 18, 2017, 15:34:57
1. Some kind of zoom control, to see where all the Zone objects are. EDIT: + and - as alternate ways to control the zoom level, for trackpad compatibility.
2. A "new map" option and a "load map" option. Right now it seems impossible to make a map without replacing the default Uurnog one.

I swear I have the actual editor controls and objects all figured out, it's just hard for me to actually get started with something. Thanks!

1. I think I recall finding some way to zoom, but I don't remember how.

2. Nifflas was planning to update the game so that it can load separate levels if someone releases a good one.

I'm only talking about in developer mode, though. It can be really inconvenient if you want to make your own level and play the default level at the same time.

Figured out how to zoom. Just scroll.

Already tried that with my trackpad, so I borrowed a wireless mouse and tried it. Seems like zooming only works with an actual scroll wheel.
Thank you anyways!

That's weird. My laptop's touchpad can do it.

Apparently, it depends on the type of computer/trackpad relationship. Some actually record the scrolling gesture as a mouse-wheel, while some (e.g. mine) just record the gesture as "scroll up/down" and refuse to interpret it as anything else.
