Here's a gloomy little game I just put the finishing touches on. It's very short, won't take more than five minutes to play. You can download it here (http://www.glorioustrainwrecks.com/node/9339). (Remember that you can enter doors by pressing down!)

LOVE YOU BB

This certainly left an impression, like a short story by Edgar Allan Poe. Great job, even though this little level might haunt me in my dreams tonight.

Thanks for the comments, guys!

I'm glad to hear it had that effect on you. It certainly is spooky, isn't it?

This is a nice little level. It reminds me of the goth-related plans you had in mind for your unfinished* level Corruption. Also, I noticed upon replaying that you don't actually need to get the high jump power-up to reach the end.
*my fault too, I guess.

Ha, I didn't remember that part, so I had to look it up; after review, I'd have to say that I don't quite see it, but then you might have a different image of it than I do. It does give me an idea for a prequel, though! Perhaps I should make it.
Re: high jump: I had some trouble reaching the key without it, but after a quick test I found an easier way to do it. Still, I like the additional room it's in (and I'm too lazy to change the level) so it'll probably stay.

Yeah, you definitely shouldn't remove it. On the contrary, it's nice to see power-ups used in such a way that they just make life easier for mediocre players rather than being essential for progress. I like the high jump room too, first time I played it was the first door I entered, and I associate it with the fun micro-puzzle of figuring out which order to collect the power-ups in.

I think the music really sets the mood.

No wonder she has locked the door up with care.
Definately one of the best levels I've tried.

I have done a review of this level!

Don't worry. I didn't spoil anything!

Thank you, Fubaka! I appreciate it.

Heh. This is a really cute lil' level (and a funny one, for that matter). Great job! This makes me want to make a level based off of Juni living in a modern-esque apartment complex.
