Title: (Horror Concept) - Doden Vantar: Chapter Two (DEAD)

                    Doden Vantar: Chapter Two: ????????

Her journey has only just begun...

Alright, so Chapter Two is indeed named, but I am not giving that name out until I'm good and ready :) lol.  Progress is good on Chapter Two, the first area alone is already 70 Screens big and growing.  I am expecting this Chapter to be a lot better than the first as I am going to be working on it for a while as everyone plays and gets used to the first Chapter.  

This Chapter is also filled with lots of new stuff, but I wont list anything as I want you to play and find out for yourself how everything works.  Expect a good amount of exploration in certain areas and also areas that are very linear, expect the unexpected also :D .  Darkness controls whatever it touches...

I am going to need one more Voice Actor if anyone is interested.  This may be the last spot open for Voice Actors, but it could be that I'm not judging it correctly, but if you'd like to help, send me an Audition, which I will post here, and remember to do your best, read it how YOU want to.  Be happy, be sad, be angry, be whatever you want, who cares what the audition may sound like when you read it!  Don't think about what you are reading, and don't just read it, put feeling into, make it something you BELIEVE in, even if you don't.  make me believe you believe.  This is rather a tough audition, but I saw fit to try to get it down, as this is the kind of person I need for the part.

OH!  You may want so reason as to why... I see, that is why you are still reading.

Well, as some of you may know, me and the wife are trying to have a child.  So, I will not have time for DV now and nor will I have time after the child is conceived.  Also, I'm just all around tired of KS.  KS is a great game and gave me lots of fun while I created levels, which only 3 of the many I created have ever been played.  I hate to leave things undone, but I've done it before and will do it again in the future, some things are just never meant to be finished. 

I'm sorry if you are disappointed, but you can try to replace that with happiness for the child I will be bringing into this world. 

But I do have this to say:

THANK YOU!  Yes, thank you to everyone who took the time to help out with at least CH1, thank you to everyone that played CH1!  You are all in my hearts, whether you liked the experience or not.

That sounds like Max from Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Now THAT was some voice-acting! Is that the sort of thing you're going for here, James?

Yep :) .  Eternal Darkness was a very nice inspiration for Doden Vantar, and one of my all time favorite games.  I'm sure as you play through the series, you will find a good amount of feelings like those found in Eternal Darkness, at least, that is what I am hoping!

:) I'm glad to see everyone enjoying the screenies!  Once all of the Chapters are done, I am going to make them into one big level so everything flows together perfectly :)  I want to thank everyone again for everything they've done, everyone is working so hard to get this on the road. 

Is it even possible to not realize what is going on?

Chapter One is released 'n stuff already? I don't remember seeing it. ._.

Also it seems like a lot of levels recently have this 'dark' theme somewhere in them. I wonder if this is 'cause of Night Game hype.

Chapter one is NOT released yet. That doesn't mean that work on the next chapter can't have begun yet. ;)

You can see the Preview of DV CH 1 down the list.  I thought it was appropriate to go ahead and post this up so people can see the progress as Chapter One reaches the final touches. 

A few more cut scene art thingies and we'll be ready to release it!  :)

Ooooh no.  lol, it'll be more than two Chapters.  I ant to try to get it down to like five, but it could go on for more, or less, I guess we'll see, but defiantly more than two :)

Yes, it is more important, good luck with making babies (not that you'll need luck), but, if you happen to ever have any free time, do you think you could at least finish the storyline (no levels, I just want to know what happens to her :))? If so, that'd be great, otherwise, don't worry about it! Say, guess you have a name if it's a girl... j/k X). Seriously, life is better than just games. Good choice, good luck, and have a happy life.

good luck EB :P2 seems people are getting married and having kids alot younger these days (wow that sounded old man-ish) anyways good luck with everything my regards XD (even more old guy-ish lol) enjoy life at its fullest don't skip out on anything  C)p
