Title: 46 2 jump Vita

Hi!

Is the jump at 46,2 with the red power up possible on the Vita version?

Update

Moved my save game over to PS3 and did it first time
Still not sure if its possible on Vita

It's possible, but it feels like some kind of voodoo when you get it.

Make sure that you're holding UP at the peak of your bounce, and try to bounce with some sideways motion as well. That was what got me those last few pixels, or at least that was what I was trying when I made it.

That jump really feels like an accomplishment when you nail it.

I don't know if in the Vita version it's harder to pull off for some reason, but this is how I usually do it in the PC version, in case it helps.

Well, that wasn't the jump I was thinking of, but it is possible to make it using basically the same method, just from the upper section.

I never quite managed to execute AA's method.  :O

^ You mean that's not the room you were talking about? In that case I'm sorry, I've used the coordinates from the editor to find the room, so maybe they're not the same as those shown in the Vita version. What's the jump you meant?

I was thinking of 46/29, which is also extremely nasty as far as I'm concerned.

There's a trick you can use for that jump

Get the Red Power Up, bounce up as much as you can, turn into Mi and use the power; all of this without moving horizontally. You won't reach high enough, but as you fall down (turn back into a ball) the Red Power Up will have regenerated (either because you've exited the screen or because enough time has passed, in case it's different in the Vita version): you'll bounce right onto it and fly higher than before, so using the Red Power again should let you make it this time (if not, just repeat until you do).
