Title: How to use Knytt Stories DS - World converter

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone out there is a pro at using the World converter for the DS. And be so kind as to give me a Step by Step guide on how to use it, as my poor brain can't cope, I NEED MORE INFO :crazy: then what's on the Knytt Stories DS - World converter Page please.

I have used it before (many moons ago), with the Knytt Stories DS V1.0a and the Level Expansion Pack , but now I'm trying to download and convert community stories from Nifflas Forum and KnyttLevels.com and having no luck, every time I try to convert, it makes a "Poot" sound at me and nothing happens.

Is there something else I need to do? Or am I being a complete noob and trying to do something that can't be done? :oops:

Can anyone help, I will be very grateful.

I NEED MORE KNYTT STORIES IN MY LIFE BLAAAAAAAAAARGH!!! I think I'm addicted X-P

have you tried reading the readme.txt that comes with the convertor?

Yep! I've just had another go at converting, in case I was reading it wrong, but still no joy :(

You should convert whole folder of the level from "Worlds" folder.

There are still people playing Knytt Stories? It is time to resurect my old projects!

Hi,

Sorry for not getting back sooner, reality has been getting in the way X-P

I managed to suss it out. When I been downloading levels off of knyttlevels.com they were VLC file that the converter doesn't like, I realised my error when I downloaded the dump file from here:

and all the world folders were as they should be,

But now I have a new problem,

Loaded and converted Gustav's Daughter on to my card and it works fine, but when I load and convert anything else on to my card like Gaia, Don't eat the Mushroom etc, I get black screens on my DS, what am I doing wrong now? O_o

Ok, ignore last problem,

I've sorted it out, I just had to delete all Knytt stuff off my card, download fresh versions of anything off of http://www.rodrigoroman.com/rrc2soft/nds_dsknytt.html put it all back on, then load and convert Blar blar blar...

I'm starting to get the nack of this technology business!!!! :crazy:
