Title: Test the Infinity Hype update (now N/A)
Post by: Nifflas on May 31, 2013, 14:27:48: Since I'm not getting any more posts, I think most of the problems are caught and won't be present when the update is official released.

I'm pulling the download for now before too many figures out it can convert the demo into the full game ;)

Is the new content hidden? Or did I make a mistake when setting it up? Thanks!

In the first room of the Dora & Cilia answer (the one marked with a ? symbol) it's possible to leave through the right side of the room because there's a piece of wall missing. Given the glitchy appearance of the level there's a chance this is intentional, but it doesn't seem it.

Olli in the upper menu area still says 'hi girl!' when you are in ball form.

After finding the secret to transform into a ball, if you go back down to the lower menu area (chapitre 1, 2, 3 etc), then you are kind of screwed. You can't go up again and you can't turn back to Mi form. For example I remember going to the "more stuff" part, get stuck and had to relaunch the game.

Maybe there should be some kind of invisible barrier that turn you automatically to Mi form if you go to the lower menu area ? Or maybe add some logic to allow one (and only one) transformation from ball to Mi form ?

Actually, you can always launch a level and then go back to the menu. Also, there's a reason why you may want to bring the ball down to the chapter area :)

I get a message saying that Knytt Underground has stopped working and that Windows is searching for a solution to the problem. No other information is provided, unfortunately. I'm using Vista if that is relevant.

Maybe the update wasn't 100% successful? Try deleting your World folder and replacing it with the new one again.

It's very weird that this should happen, neither of the room has have any assets that doesn't appear in other rooms.

is it possible to reach the top of the waterfall? I got one screen above the sword, but I haven't been able to make it to the ledge up there.

Officially you can't. Well, there is a very tricky jump you can do to jump around a single tile that goes outwards... It's hard, you need to use the fact that the game still allows you to walljump 4-5 frames after you've lost grip of the wall.

If you go to the tutorial area in ball form, the tutorial still suggests that you press the same arrow keys as before. I'm not sure if this is what you want.

I managed to get up there, there's a secret passage...that leads to a void screen. X)

In case there still is a chance for an update to this game, it really would be a good idea to add those markers. The challenges are hard enough, so at least tell where to go :)
