If I ever actually finish this it will be my first level that I actually finished. I'm trying to come up with some more tile sets than just one, but I am very proud of how it is turning out.
Every once in a while I'll get back into Knytt Stories and this is what happens when I do. Let's just hope I finish it this time.
EDIT - From now on the level will be known as "Birch Forest" because this is confusing a lot of people.

Good trees. Have you looked into ks+ yet? The editor is easier to use, and there are the fun additions...

If you mean Knytt Underground then I am downloading it right now.

KS+ is a mod by egomassive, Link Here (http://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?topic=4175.0).
It adds onto the base features of Knytt Stories making it a much more versatile tool.

I appreciate the promotion Headgrinder, but I think it's off topic in this context.
Lewiswolke, I've always liked birch tree forests. If those are birch trees I think you've captured them quite nicely.

Looks grat! This tileset is great :D.

Finally something with good birches. I want to see it finished. :)
Will there be more tree species ? (as a student of botany, I prefer levels with rich species pool)
-
Hopefully along with the aspen trees (birch trees also) I am going to make some other species.
-
Awesome screenshots. Keep going.

I feel silly. The subject title is "Aspen Forest Preview" and I misidentify the trees as birch. After Googling pictures of the two species, they do look more like Aspen. Depicting real plant life in pixels is much more challenging than making imaginary flora. I hope you finish your tilesets and of course the level.

I did not know, that aspen is a name of tree species - I call it Populus or topol (in Czech), so when I saw picture of tree with white ross, I thought it was birch. I think, that other people, whose first language is not English, have the same problem, because aspen (with capital A) sounds like name of some town or something.
