Title: Aside from secrets, is the end the end? [Massive Spoilers]

I feel like I'm missing something. Alright, I know I'm missing things. But the hidden areas are beyond the scope of what I mean right now.

So here's where I am:

I've rung the bells. I've gotten the Enigma. I've seen Dora's dream. I have both the achievements from the Interlude. The main map is full. I've met the dictator, and one day I'm going to make the sandwich.

But here's what I'm wondering...

Does the machine in the Upper Left corner activate?
Where is Dora's father? The one time I checked his house he wasn't there, and I don't know if he ever comes back, and I forgot where it is.
Dora keeps getting the Owl Statue dream in the ending. What does that mean? Have I missed something?

I'm finishing my second runthrough of the game (with Cilia) and this time I want to make sure I do it right.

EDIT: Basically, HAVE I beaten the game? Or did I miss the super-secret true ending? I've already seen what the Enigma does to the ending. :)

* The machine in the upper left corner sends you to the future. However, that's in Within a Deep Forest. In Knytt Underground it (just like Dora says) doesn't work anymore.

* Dora's father isn't home, he's probably visiting a friend and having a nice beer or something. We don't learn much about him in the game except that he told a lot of stories to Dora (pixies and soul crystals). Because Knytt Underground a lot about the randomness in life, key people may not be home at convenient times for the game story.

* Maybe Cilia is right; it's just a dream that doesn't mean anything. I personally hope she's wrong, but I believe she's right. This part will only make sense if you know me, but there's an interview coming up where I dig into it a little bit.

Cool. Looks like now I just need to beat Falu Kohe. You do realize this is the Hell Temple of Knytt Underground? This is not healthy for me to be doing. I... it is not healthy for me to be doing. :(

Jeez, DeceasedCrab, I figured even Figure Space would be relaxing after what Hell Temple put you through. If you decide to take it on, be aware that there's a nice, serene secret area hidden mid-way through the challenges! It would be a shame to miss out on it.

I've gotten the Falu Kohe achievement, but it looks like there is another Figure Space achievement. Is this for one of the other paths in that one level where you have to use the glowy powers a lot? I have only taken the east path.

Also, I've noticed a couple of "machines" (think The Machine) scattered around. Are these just aesthetic, or do the light patterns mean anything?

Which one? There's a place accessible from Figure Space and there's second Figure, Mini.

I always thought of these as landscape markers to make orientation in the Disorder easier, but they could have another function.

so I guess I'll just keep looking for Mini Figure.
The shrines and machines make a lot more sense in light of the Disorder...
