Title: Not sure if I finished the game...

I think I have all items, and I got another dream cutscene after getting more fuel, but then went back to the game. Is the ending obvious that it is an ending?

Yes, it's very clear when the game ends. If you're stuck:

I started playing this a long time ago, and didn't pay much attention to it for a long time, so I didn't remember what planet it was that I started in.
