Title: [Environmental/Trailer] Dream
Post by: ixMarcel on May 16, 2012, 18:24:48: It's very short level, but I think it's very nice. I used Minmay's tileset from this (http://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?topic=1742.0) tutorial. So, download it, and we will meet in Tower of Lightning.

The eye isn't necessary to get to the end, with double jump and climb you can easily get up there.
I didn't feel like the music was very fitting for ambiance, felt more like something for a cutscene or emotional dialog.

You can reach the little island in x1002y1000 without any jump power-ups, but you can't jump back. If the player used the save point on the screen, that means she's stuck and can't leave without editing or deleting her save file. To fix this you can either move the island farther away so that Juni requires jump power-ups to cross, or remove the save point.

Also, I found the jump past the spikey thing on screen x1001y1001 a bit trickier than you may have intended. I'm not sure how you would change it to be easier, though. Get rid of the water maybe?
Other than that I enjoyed it. I really like the song that plays over the level; what is it called?

The artist of the song is Yiruma, by the way.
The level itself, while it isn't bad, has some flaws, but those have been mentioned before so I won't do that again.
I shall, however, await more of your levels. The forums need more designers like you, I think.

Alternatively, it can be finished without double jump and hologram.

Using the double jump powerup, it is easy to get to the ledge to the right of the waterfall in x999y1000, and from there you can climb up into a void above.
