I can't get passed the 5th room in the void.
How do I get through?

Also, do you mean the 5th area (as seen from the level selector) or the fifth screen you encounter in Void? (As in, second screen of area 2 in Void)

I'm probably making it more difficult than it is.
Nobody seems to do challenge tutorials..

I'm through.
I kept trying to get on the upper left or ride the ball over..
