Title: Having trouble downloading? [SOLVED]
Post by: Aptequar on January 06, 2011, 20:22:09: For some reason when I try to download either the exe or the zip I experience problems. Firstly, the download is painfully slow, ~30kbps. Secondly, the download drops out at around 1/3 through. Other downloads from other sites run at full speed, so I can only assume it's a problem with the Nicalis site.

At any rate, I would like to play this game. ALOT. :^^:

Post by: powderj on January 06, 2011, 20:53:34: I've been able to download the game but am receiving an error message when trying to open or extract the files. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Error reads "The Setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the game"

Error for Zipped file reads: "The Compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted"

EDIT: Downloaded again and installed without a problem.

He'd better be rich! He's more than earned it by now. Can't wait for my download to actually finish so I can play this. Feel like I've been waiting forever for it...

Same here. Thanks alot! Figured it was a problem with server overload or something similar.

Post by: Nifflas on January 07, 2011, 00:24:48: I didn't know this, but the script I programmed would time out if a download took more than 10 minutes. It wasn't a problem in my tests, as downloading was always faster. Jamie saved the day and created a new script which doesn't have this problem!

Cannot load ForEach.mfx. This object might need an external program or library not yet installed.

Well, google didn't held me. Anyone know what's up?

Post by: 60naranja on January 18, 2011, 20:29:21: Mahamajama: I think it's actually complaining that you don't have MSVCP90.dll. Try installing that and see if the problem persists.
