Very nice level. There are a number of things I specifically liked: I liked the tilesets, and the unity they gave to the level; I liked the subtle but effective deployment of custom objects; and I liked the extremely subtle hinting at the location of the first secret (I only noticed it on the way back), and I liked the neat effect used at the secret ending.
There wasn't much I didn't like. Having to go back through areas I'd already beaten was sorta irritating, but not really a problem. I didn't like the lack of any real setup; there's one intro screen showing the ultimate goal of the level, but then no explanation as to why Juni (or the player) wants to get there, and Juni just starts standing in the (apparent) middle of nowhere. I also didn't like the fact that the level is more or less totally lifeless- other than Juni, I didn't see any animals, which felt weird. (Maybe that was deliberate, though.)
Overall, a well above-average level, though.
Incidentally, it's possible to stand on the spikes without danger (see attachment). This is so close, though, that it'd be very hard to exploit.
Also, the wallswim at the end was rather boring to watch...
Another wonderful masterpiece from farik.
Perfect use of beautiful tilesets & custom objects. Great level. :)
I really love the wallswim effect in alternative ending. :whoa:
Having to go back through areas I'd already beaten was sorta irritating, but not really a problem.
Same (little) problem here, but only because I'm really bad with jumping level.
I'm stuck on the screen that is your second screenshot (the cave one). Am I missing a powerup, or is it just that hard? Can you walk (jump) me through it?
Oh, that one took me a while. X)

Very small graphical error! :O
EDIT: Just beat it. Awesome. But hard. For me, that is. X)
At the (real) ending, you shoud've taken away the Climb power-up because fooling around with the up and down keys can make Juni jump around a little.
Oh, and I found a wallswim and other glitch.
In the screen with the yellow key, you can drop down onto a high ledge on the screen below by falling and following the rightmost waterfall stream downward. The spikes on this ledge (and the ledge and wall underneath it) are not kill-tiles; and the top-right-most spike is solid, so if you jump up to the next screen's wall, then slide down, you wallswim. I might make a picture to illustrate.
It is a great level farik! :)
How did you do the little knytt like glowing orb for when you are in the secret places?
looked in the level editor and found out. great Idea!
Really liked this. Skill-based difficulty. I've played too many "difficult" maps that use projectile-spamming creatures that require more luck than skill to get past. I thought the tiles were really good and didn't mind the lifelessness. I thought it was a good design choice.
I only really had a couple of problems. The clouds and bridges. I hate dealing with sections where there are obstructions that hide some or all of Juni's body so that it's hard to tell where the actual platforms are. It feels cheap. I also don't like platforming where you need to be in a specific spot or avoid something right as the screen transitions.
Other than that I thought it was great.
Well the ones that come straight to mind are the flower springs and theres a bit coming up from the underground where there are spikes as soon as the screen transitions. I kept waiting for juni to slide down to the right height for the jump but the screen kept transitioning back. Eventually you get used to it, but it felt really cheap at first.
a hint for the hidden key: if you get the detector powerup at the beginning, before finding any keys, you'll be able to find the secret... well, probably :)
This level is so awesome :) I love the style of your graphic.
I didn't find hidden key anyway.
@edit: I haven't seen Farik's hint before. I found it :)
Amazing level. One of my personal favourites.
Very unique usage of wallswimms. I am delighted
Good job, anyway I think that making Let's play movies make sense, only if you play level / game for the 1st time. It's very easy to spoil something.
Like you almost did at the beggining X)
