Title: [Very Hard] Big blue and useless (updated)

Get to here without using the big blue thing. Meaning theoretically you should destroy the big blue thing before attempting to get to that area. Practically I just leave it where it spawns and don't interact with it at all.

Version 1.0 required! This challenge is way too easy in earlier versions!

If you beat this, I'd appreciate a screenshot under a spoiler tag :)

That is how I used to beat that level, until I heard of the intended solution. xD

What? You managed to get the coin and escape the area without using the blue thing? I don't believe it, how did you do it?

Thats also how I did it. I thought the blue thing was a joke by Nifflas :P

Fall from where? If you throw the bird down from the top right, then it's moving too fast for you to fall down enough while standing on top of it. I've tried it like a zillion times and I can't do it >_>

Here's more detail. You're there, you hit your head and stop moving right, the red bird keeps moving right, quickly since you recently dropped it. This stops you from being able to grab it while falling.

Is it just that you need to be really pixel perfect?

...do you mean the other right by any chance? X)

Attempted this today, got the result you're describing, mostly.

I noticed the birds have a tendancy to go right. But if you throw them down while you are facing left, they will go left instead of right.

This is how I beat the room the first time as well. I thought the big blue guy was a red herring.

Are you certain you're running the newest version?
There's a slight difference, as seen in the comparison screenshot in the attachment.
The little gap lets the bird keep running instead of being stopped by the wall. :)

I'm running 1.0

Which version are YOU running?

EDIT: I just downloaded the latest version from the site (again), unzipped it, and got to the screen.
It's everyone here who's running the wrong version not me. Nifflas fixed being able to get that coin 'the wrong way' in the latest version. Try this challenge again with the latest version, and I trust you'll find it very hard.

Okay I got the 1.0 version and I was still able to do it similarly but it was a much closer call (landing on the bird right as it's stepping off and barely making it to the coin).

Aww, if it really is possible to do that then this challenge is much less interesting. Although at least doing it through that method is challenging.
