Well, there was one for KS, so I thought why not?

The second version is tile types.

You just accidentally created an optical illusion with that first one.

Really, just stare at it for a moment.  It starts to look like a curved surface.

I did have a quick look at nifflas tileset in the editor. Why not make the backround transparent?

I suppose it's like in Knytt Stories: magenta is used as transparent for 24-bit tilesets. By the way, I don't think I've seen any translucent stuff in the game, but it's safe to assume 32-bit RGBA images are supported, isn't it?

Yeah, transparency in tilesets works fine. my level uses that quite a lot (it'll be in 3rd party extension package)
