I thought this would be the best place to post about a group like this. If the admins disagree, then move it.

Well, the subject says it all; this is a group for people who use the WaDF forum theme. If you use it, tell us why and join! If anyone wants to make userbars, as I suck at that, they're welcome to do so.

Anyway, I use the WaDF theme because I like blue. Yay.

I use it because I don't like my screen being white on the majority of space. Also why I have my text background light grey, not white.
And I use it because I like shiny buttons. and the menu/buttons placement/layout better than on the other theme.
And because of nostalgia because this is an emulation or whatever of the theme that was on the original WaDF forum where it all started (at least for me X))

c'mon, 49 more users need to post in here! XD

The WaDF theme is not as bright, cause bright colors cause my eyes to hurt after a while.

I like the WaDF theme because it is an easy way to see when I'm logged in and logged out. Plus. It's got the "Show new replies to your posts." (http://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?action=unreadreplies) button!

if the post is greyish, they willl only see WADF theme, and if it is white, For life!

it's not quite correct... the 'for life' is a bit dark and the 'WaDF theme' is a bit light, so it's hard to see

the correct colours are #f3f3f3 and #eeeeee, as in the attached picture. ;) but with these it's really very subtle, since the colours have really little difference/contrast.

number 12 has a border (orly) and corners that are in the two slightly different post background colours of the blue theme. so nobody can ever see everything in it. weeee (I'm just bored :P)

Can i plz join? I like to use WaDF theme 'cuz of the fact that it isn't what i like to call "Prototypish", like some other themes i know. And because i can't get used to returning to Knytt theme..,

You can join by starting to use it, and then tell us that you do. You can switch either by going to your profile or use the quick change button on the bottom of every page.

I've always used the WaDF Theme! I love all the nice blues and purples, as it's not as hard on my sensitive eyes. Plus it makes everything a bit bigger, which rules. I wisheth to joineth said member thing.

I use the WaDF theme on my desktop PC or whenever my dad needs to expose some photographs, but on my netbook (which is what I am at now) I use the knytt theme, so you can sorta-half add me to that list.

I just switched to it, and I have to say that the "If you look (moderately) closely, you can find a download link for every released game in its respective description!" note  is actually really necessary because it is almost impossible to see it. But I still like this theme more than the knytt one.

The WaDF tag shows anything inside it using colors from the WaDF theme. This way, non WaDF theme users can see what the WaDF theme looks like. I do want to ask not to use it unless related to the WaDF theme.

To WaDF theme users, they will not see any difference whether the WaDF tag is used or not.

I just took one of the many colors the .CSS file has. The color and font will be used somewhere in the theme. Its not meant to be an exact replica, its just meant to be a representative for the Knytt Edition users to have an idea what it looks like without having to switch and to be able to read that image.

the post background colours alternate. that's why it shows a difference under certain circumstances. x)

Step 3: Calculate the hexadecimal forum colours. I'm sure there's a converter somewhere, but I couldn't find it. The knytt theme alternates between to shades of severe white: 238, 238, 238 and 243, 243, 243. 243 is 16*15 + 3, or F3. 238 is 16*14 + 14, or ED.
The two knytt colours are F3F3F3 and EDEDED.
The WaDF posts alternate between two colors as well, this time 17, 51, 102 and 20, 54, 105. The calculation is easy enough, and you end up with 12 36 6C and 15 39 70.

Step 4:	Pick one of the colours, or a colour in the middle, and use a hexadecimal "color=#" tag to colour the corresponding text.	Spoiler: ex (click to show/hide) Your forum theme is: Just fine! all you have to do is get firefox (which quite a lot seem to have), stylish and a bit of css knowledge, and away you go :D

Well, not really. Everything on the forum appears to be on a table, which I can't change the color of. So you can't really do much except adding a background or doing subtle color changes.

Its not hacking as such, just... modifying  X-P
And I'm not sure why you couldn't change the entire look, it's been done before. just look up UserStyles (http://userstyles.org/) it has thousands of 'themes' that can totally alter the look of a web page. As an example, have a look at userstyles.org, then look at what a theme can do to it (see attached)

I've had a quick look at the source, but I can't find it. I'm not even sure it is a table. In any case, everything on the forum is placed on a white background, and I have no idea how to change it.

Besides, I thought this was a support group for the WaDF theme, not an effort to document everybody who is using the theme at all.

He can leave if he feels like it. But he thinks he's not using the WaDF theme with the custom themes. Two out of the current three are based on it. That still counts as using it.

Try setting this in your profile instead of using the quick changer. Its under look and feel.
