Title: Kaspersky: Malware Detection

My Anti-Virus (Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010) Detected Malware in KnyttEnvironment.exe  :sad:

To be more details the Malware is a Constructor.Win32.IDL.eh
[Medium Risk] Disinfect is not possible.
I guess I have to delete.

Nifflas please reply.

Where did you downloaded the game from?

Did you have it installed before it detected this, or did you get the detection during install?

The game uses the live receiver extension, which is falsely reported as a virus, probably because of some malware that used the same extension.

However, that doesn't mean Knytt Experiment itself contains malware. I'd normally report this to the antivirus manifacturers, but I'm not bothered as it's an abandoned game.

Do you mean KnyttExperiment.exe or KnyttEnvironment.exe
if it's the latter, Then this should be posted on the thread about Knytt Environment (in dev. showcase). Knytt Environment is made in GameMaker, and does NOT have any viruses, don't worry, i swept it with ESET Smart Security 2010 C)p
