Title: How do you make a knytt stories screen as a cutscene
Post by: BioShock on February 13, 2010, 23:59:13
I always wondered how to make a knytt stories screen as a cutscene, there are tutorial videos on youtube but they say "This video has been removed" If anyone has a tutorial, please post it here!

STEP 1: Take a screenshot of the knyttstories screen you want as a cutscene. How to do so is covered in the [FAQ]
STEP 2: Paste the image into an image editing program and crop it down to size.
STEP 3: Save the image as Scene1.png in ...Knytt Stories\Worlds\[your level]\Cutscenes\[name of sutscene].

Alternately, you can shift into the screen and shift out again. How to make shift cutscenes, or shifts for that matter could probably be found out with a simple [search].

OR you could use custom objects mixed with either a manual timer or KSA's timed timer. (wtf?)

You can also use the Knytt Stories Manager to add your cutscenes.

Q:How do I take a screenshot?
A:Hold down the Alt key and press the Print Screen (prtscr) button while you have the window you want to take a screenshot of up. Then, paste the image into an image editor.
I did that then i tried to paste it into gimp, but it didnt work O.o
