Title: Music related information overload
Post by: Miss Paula on February 17, 2009, 16:49:56

I added "Magical 8bit Plug- http://www.ymck.net/english/download/index.html - plug-in style synthesizer for making 8bit chiptune music, for VSTi supporting applications".
If you think you found something worth adding, you can post it in this thread with a short description and I might get to including it some day. X)

Also, Reaktor is a very expensive and complex piece of software, if you have it on your machine and don't know what you're doing, then you're pretty obviously using a pirated version.

If you want to use a modular synthesis application that is free, then go for Puredata :
Downloads here : http://puredata.info/downloads (get pd-extended, it comes with more objects)
Beginner tutorials here : http://obiwannabe.co.uk/html/music/musictuts.html

I've shortened a few of the urls so it doesn't generate scrollbars. :)

Um, does anyone have a link to that big sample pack from Nifflas? It had a whole bunch of useful stuff in it, but I can't find the link anywhere.

EDIT: Never mind, I found it. This (http://www.ni2.se/files/samples/Nifflas'%20Samples.zip) is the link, if anyone's curious.

I'm assuming these will work with FL Studio? (VSTs)

We should pipe tweak bench into itself and make it a ring in Knytt Stories.
