Title: [Environmental?/Misc] Pestilence

Here's a small preview (18 screens) of a level I worked on for a few days now:

It's a very wacky and bizarre world, populated by harmless bouncers and people who scream for help. Custom music, as always.

I'm not sure I'm going to finish this. I like the mood, but I kind of can't see it getting anywhere in the future. So here's a beta.

I'm sorry to say, but the screen just looks bad. Its like the entire thing is just one big SGE, which really doesn't contribute to any kind of "wacky" feeling. Sorry.

No seriously thought, I don't know what to say about it. It looks interesting even thought the screen is a mess. Messy can be good.

Yeah, that's exactly the feeling I wanted. Navigable and playable, but all screens being giant SGE's, music being odd and formless, etc. I'm sorry you didn't like it, I guess it is a bit too odd... eh.

Well, like I say above, it's all playable and everything. No wallswims (well, no wallswims intended), pretty straightforward paths, powerups to collect... you know? I just wanted it to look and feel really odd/messy/broken/whatever.
