Title: IRC chat Problem

I thought, yes me, (LP ;)), would finally bring this up.
Well, I've been trying to get onto the IRC here, cus everyone uses it, and I want to.

Heres the problem:

When I go on, I type in the name I want, then I choose what version I want, lite or heavy, but then, when everything loads up, I lose connection with the internet.
MY ADSL just goes away, you might not know what ADSL is with our internet in New Zealand, but I bet some Kiwis do understand.

Well, yeah, I try go on but lose connection and I've got to restart the computer to get it back. It's kinda annoying, so can anyone help me, please? :)

So you're trying the webbased chatapp from greywool, right?

Have you also tried to install an IRC program, like chatzilla?

I just click the "chat" button at the top and go from there, if that's what you mean.
Yeah, I had chatzilla, someone told me to download, it didn't work. Even when I type in all the IRC stuff to connect to it, still lost connection.
