Title: What to do after getting the first 5 ball materials?
Post by: special_d on July 09, 2009, 06:12:28: I have the first 5 balls, where am I supposed to get the next one, and is there anything I need to do in "a strange place"?

Spoiler: Ball 6 (click to show/hide)
Go up to the top of the mountain, just above the part on the left side where there is a wind tunnel. Save, and hit "3" for ball 3. Use it to get past the wind, then jump over the platforms, then go RIGHT and hit that log that's there...

Spoiler: Ball 7 (click to show/hide)
To get ball seven, go as far as left as you can from the menu spot by the lake, without going up a screen or down a screen as part of the path, and jump carefully into the cave that's up there (it's tricky the first time, good luck ;)).

It's been a while since I've played, so if something's wrong, someone should let me know!

But, really, why would you suggest that? It ruins the spirit of WaDF.

There are some creatures that give you tips. You can get past lasers with :a5:.

actually, crystal path is fairly easy without corner glitching. but it's easiest to have 8 or 10 first.

you don't actually need to do crystal path until just about the end of the game, and it's actually easier after you get the last ball (one VERY difficult screen is skipped)

and i believe that crystal path has multiple winnable paths , but if you wish i could pm you a map with one of the easier routes.

Well, first: do you have all 10 balls? If so, continue reading. If not, go find the others. Now, once you have them: go to the top of the mountain, the far right save (still on the top of the mountain). You need to go left from there with ball 7, and jump over the lava there, then go down, heading to the screen before crystal path. Being careful, jump over the lava in THAT screen now, and you should be in the screen before crystal path. Now, head right, being careful not to fall down that first shaft. I'll leave the rest to you to figure out (it should be exceedingly obvious from there, in fact, I believe I already told you)!

you need to go to lunar cheese extraction facility, on the western side of pinewood heights go ball 4 up>up, then go to save, switch to ball 6, go down, to that platform with that guy who gave you ball 6 as an image in the wall, go to that thing on the left and voila!

in the eastern side of pinewood heights, go left>down>right>down with ball 8. go through shadowlands and you have ball 9!

Go to time machine with ball 9, go all the way to the lake, go through, teleport to present and you have ball 0! hooray!
