When I minimize the game with ESC, it has the same logo (on the taskbar button) as KSA! Is it just me? If not, why do they use the same logo?
-
Um............................
I don't see the same icon...
-
Ok, I haven't even touched KSA in a while, so it can't be a mistake... momentary glitch? It's not doing it any more...
-
My computer sometimes does it when its almost at the point of crashing.

Uh oh...
EDIT: Wait, now pressing ESC just closes it in general, not minimizes it!
-
...yeah Windows sometimes mixes up icons like this. When I had ME the icons were basically totally mixed up, even when the computer was as far as it got from crashing (not far).

Indeed, this can happen of the iconcache was gone bezerk. Sometimes switching screen resolutions can cause this.
Usually if you see this happen, its time to reinstall windows :P

Uhh, no. That wouldn't be very useful. The mixed-up icons are totally useless, and reinstalling Windows would fix them as much as rebooting would.
In any case, this is a bug with Windows, and usually not one that means anything, except perhaps that you have too many files in one folder (especially ones with different icons). In any case there's not really a lot you can do to fix it, but it is totally harmless.

Actually, I believe you can make the icon cache bigger. At least on XP, afaik. I have a program that tweaks all sorts of stuff, but I suppose you can just use some registry editing. If you know what you're doing. :P2

the problem is almost certainly the icon cache. one time, icons on my desktop were randomly changed to the power settings, mmc icon, etc.
it's actually fairly easy to reset this, see http://apluspcservice.com/techtips/reset_the_icon_cache.htm (http://apluspcservice.com/techtips/reset_the_icon_cache.htm) for how to do it.
EDIT: also try setting 'Do not cache thumbnails' in Windows Explorer's Folder Options or in the control panel
