Nifflas beat you to it? Apparently you're under the impression that physics-based games with balls were revolutionized by Nifflas. I really don't see why you should abandon your project - as far as I remember it also had online capabilities - The great thing about NightSky is not the originality of the core gameplay. It's the design and the puzzle/challenge.

These guys (http://toucharcade.com/2010/01/26/trundle-a-free-game-you-need/) released Trundle, so you can't go much worse. :P
