Title: [SPOILER] Interactive database.
Post by: Cosine on March 14, 2009, 17:35:46
Most of you probably know me, and yet don't know that you know me. I'm Dilbertguy, back from the dead.

Anyways, I was bored, and picked Knytting again. As a result of getting horribly lost in the Normal World, I decided to make an interactive databse for it! This is harder than it sounds, however. I'm manually entering in the data for each level instead of reading the level files (which would be WAY to hard to do, due to encryptions and such). That's why I posted before I was finished with it. I need your help.

So far, I have:
The Center of the World
A Strange Place
The Castle
Night Castle
Suburb

If anyone has lots of spare time, feel free to give me the exact name (not what you think it should be named :P), and it's x/y position in the world.

I did this a while ago... (but it's up to date)

[NORMAL]

12(coins)+12(no coins)=24(all levels)

C x995y1000
C x996y1000
X x997y1000
X x997y1001
C x998y999
C x998y1000
X x998y1001
C x998y1002
C x999y999
X x999y1000
C x999y1001
X x999y1002
X x1000y999
X x1000y1000
X x1000y1001
X x1000y1002
X x1001y1000
X x1001y1001
C x1001y1002
X x1002y1000
C x1002y1001
C x1002y1002
C x1003y1000
C x1003y1001

C means there's a coin in the level, and X means there is not.

I have no names, though.

[tickedmode]

Hey all, it's a really short notice, but... This is really annoying. It's been giving me tons of problems since I tried to make the program read the grid off of a file, and it's giving me errors left and right.

If anyone wants the source, ask.

I have almost all the coins and teles (maps) here.
And then, there's this (http://www.ni2.se/knyttexperiment/index.php)

EDIT: Oh yeah! Considering the coins, I'd put a spoiler in the topic title.

And then, there's this (http://www.ni2.se/knyttexperiment/index.php)
It only contains levels published 15.02.2008 - 16:54:23 and later.

EDIT: And there is no coin at Experimental x1000y1002.

Note the (Maybe...) tag

EDIT: Alright. Here's the entire normal world's info tags.

Note the (Maybe...) tag
Since there is no coin there shouldn't be a (Maybe...) tag, that's why I ponted it out. :moody:

The (Maybe...) tag is because I didn't know. Alright? It's been confirmed. No coin. I'll not bother updating it. <_<

Is there any purpose to the coins?

Not really. Just collectables.
