Ok, remembered to grab 3 screenshots near the end of an intense back-and-forth game.

Man, it's been a while since I've been here.

So, League of Legends is an online multiplayer game similar to Defense of the Ancients/Heroes of Newerth. For those unfamiliar with the genre, gameplay consists of two teams of 5 players - each playing as a different champion with a unique set of special abilities - battling each other. It's extremely strategic, with fast-paced action and careful positioning. The game is patched every two weeks to attempt to balance it. It's far from well balanced but every hero (hero and champion are used interchangeably) can be successfully played at almost any level of play. Except maybe Tryndamere.

The game is fast-paced and team oriented. If you can find four friends to play with, you will enjoy it much more than playing by yourself. It can be extremely confusing for new players, especially since there are now almost 60 champions in the game, so

The actual gameplay is nothing like this, but it's cool anyways.

Feel free to PM me or message me ingame if you have any questions! It REALLY helps to have someone explain the basic strategy BEFORE you start playing.

Thank you this is full of frad. Still rather buggy and laggy and such... but still! Imagine: "Knytt Races XTrEmE" "Umbrella Race Challenge" and team Lunatic maps!

I lean towards the third - it often comes out like Calvinball, where everyone is just trying to sound strategical and such.

Ah, found a good summary of the basic rules from someone:

"It varies hugely from edition to edition but in short you select a starting station and a mode of transport. Your guide is the London Underground map. You get a variety of cards of different colour, some representing the different lines on the Underground (at least in 3RE). In the simplified version turns are limited to movement, challenges and card playing.
For a beginner like you I'd recommend starting somewhere unobtrusive like Angel and just using a bike.
Other people will fill you in as you go."

I.E. you can say "I'm going from Farrington to Holborn by foot", then the next guy (or guy after him) can challenge you and say that's not legal; here's why. Or you can play a card, but that's a little complicated and I don't recommend dealing with cards until you've got the basic strategy down. (To make it fair, I won't use them either). That's the basis of the game.

What ho, old chaps! Who wants to play some Mornington Crescent?
Ruleset is North American 3 Revised Edition. (I know some people prefer the European rules but NAM2 is friendlier to new fellows.)
No reverse blocks, no non-interruptables, and no double switch. Other than that, anything goes.

Map can be found here: http://images.intolondon.com/images/intolondon/transport-maps/london-underground-tube-map.gif

Alright, I'll start simple by taking Tottenham Court Road and disbanding.

Also, maybe on topic, I found this really weird message from Tooplark in my messages:
This is an automatic notification from Arcade. Tooplark is now champion of everything because he/she is made of win. You cannot try to reclaim title.
O.o

That's just my sense of humor :P
