Uurnog / If you were to come up with a block?
« on: May 26, 2017, 14:31:50 »
So, say I'm hypothetically having more plans for Uurnog, if you were to come up with a new block, what would it do?

It's coded so that each block does something when used, and can also respond differently to each damage type: push, pew pew, explosion, use disintegrate, and stack (yes, weird as it is, use and stack are implemented as damage types).

Uurnog / Hi! Sorry I've been so absent!
« on: May 24, 2017, 16:02:51 »
Hi!

Sorry I've been so absent for such a long time. I've been through a bit of a rough period, and the honest explanations is that I've really felt I should write something here for quite a while, but when there's something important I should do, whether it's replying to emails or writing here, in my mind it grows into a mountain.

I hope you've had fun with the game though, and I'll try to start looking through the conversations tonight!

Knytt Underground / Steam codes
« on: October 30, 2013, 23:48:38 »
You can now get Steam codes if you got the game through a bundle or Fastspring, and Gamer's Gate soon.

Instructions are here. Since I don't got many of these bundles myself, I kind of lack good instructions how to redeem the Steam codes. Please help me out if you know a better way to put it than I did. :)

Knytt Underground / Steam build testing, patch 1
« on: October 08, 2013, 11:09:57 »
Hi!

So, for those of you testing the Steam builds, a patch is up that should fix the cursor bug. It should be downloaded automatically when you start Steam.

Knytt Underground / Steam build testing!
« on: September 23, 2013, 04:22:06 »
Is anyone here up to testing the Steam version? It'd just be nice to make sure everything works before the game is released. Especially achievements and the OS X/Linux builds needs testing, but testing on Windows would be super useful too!

Knytt Underground / Steam trading card ideas?
« on: September 10, 2013, 17:27:36 »
So, as you might now, I'm not actually that much into neither achievements or trading cards 'n such. That is, not when the achievements are granted for playing the game in a regular game (e.g. "congratulations, you just beat the game"). In Knytt Underground, I still wanted to have achievements, but unusual ones for finding secrets and getting to strange places.

Now, I hear it's good business to have trading cards for a Steam game because lots of people are into that stuff, and I want to add them in a way that's funny but doesn't distract from the game for those who doesn't care about them. Do you have any interesting ideas for how cards should be obtained? Also, what motives would you like to see on the cards? I can have characters, but I'm also ready to go nuts and put random nonsense on them :)

Hi!

Everybody who got the game on Fastspring or Gamer's Gate should be able to download the Infinity Hype update (1.2.1) now. Ripstone is getting the game up on more of the distribution platforms now. I'm 99% sure everything is set up correctly, but please let me know if everything is okay with the builds, and which OS you're playing on.

This update should also fix that annoying problem with some Intel graphics cards.
