I was using the manager to set my icon and my intro screen, and when I picked the images I wanted to use, they didn't show up. That happens with the manager, what with it being so horribly buggy and all, so I tried again. The images weren't there. Ive looked in all the folders for my world, and have come to the conclusion that the manager deleted them. Luckily they took me all of 5 minutes to make, but I still need to know how to set an icon and info screen without using the manager.
On a side note the manager recently stopped working for me when it comes to setting up tilesets, but it's never deleted them.

I think you just have them labeled as "icon" and "info" in your world folder, and they should work... I think...though, I don't know if it has to be a certain type of image (if so, perhaps .png, like custom objects).
Edit: Yep, it works, and yes, it's a .png image. Rename the picture as icon or info, respectfully, and move it to your world folder. From what I saw, it appears to have reset it back to the standard info/icon picture in the folder, but if you play it in the game, the picture is the one you want.

The icon isn't working. It's just a black square in the game. It's named "Icon" and is simply an edit of the default, yet it doesn't work!
EDIT: It works now. I have no idea why, but it works. :/

this is one of the reasons that i only use the KSM to look up shift/flag settings i don't already know. Actually, I changed gradients, tilesets, etc. before even knowing about the custom data manager (which doesn't even work for me)

I didn't even know there WAS a custom data manager XD

I never use the custom data manager. I mean, why start up a program and browse through a bunch of files when you can just drag and drop your stuff? [/offtopic]
Have you tried copying a default icon from another level?
If that works, there is probably something wrong with the icon you edited.

Yes I did, because the manager deleted my old one. It works now, just not for me.
