Title: [Lunatic] [Challenge] MW's 'Unbeatable' Level

Due to some complaints about how easy my other 'hard' modes were, I created a level given the name 'unbeatable.'

Differences between The first versions and V2:
There's only one difference- you don't start up with the 'run' ability in V2. it was a glitch in the first version that I didn't notice in test mode- you are intended to pick up the run ability later so I suggest playing the V2 if you want to play it correctly. The links above are both V2 so the glitch is fixed.

Differences between Basic and Advanced player versions:
Only one- there are no save points in the advanced player ones (Hence the name- 'No 2nd chances') it's not as hard as it is frustrating as you get no 2nd chances. If you die at any part in the game, you start all over. I have been unable to beat this version myself, but I can beat the obstacles one at a time.

On the attachments. Note that some are slightly off due to the shots being taken in test mode- you may not have the power up when you get to that screen.

Any complaints stating the game is too hard WILL be ignored.

Mmm..I'm not that mean to people. Just enough to make them literally pull their hair out- and that was when the games I made were too easy!

the beggining, all you had to do was walk..nothing hard there =\

the real fun started at the midway (castle and stuff)

I can't say who they are. If they can beat the one where there's no save points, then boy do I envy them >.>

Oh I see. I do have a recording program I could use for it (Although it might make me lag which could kill me easily.)
But maybe if more people want to see it I'll try it.

I'm kind of surprised someone made it so far that fast. I'm glad you found some of it fun though.

The game itself was designed to be as hard as I could make it while still being able to make it PAST an obstacle. Something so hard is bound to be frustrating to some people- and if you don't like games that are designed to be very hard, you don't have to play them.

There is also a fine line between skill and luck.

EDIT: The first challenge was a lot harder than the others thus far. I mean a lot

EDIT EDIT: Some of these challenges aren't so hard as tedious, like the black blocks, laser one.

I think the challenges here are more creative than most lunatic levels.
I am not finding it too frustrating, this is more enjoyable that pixel-perfect jumping levels.

I like it.  :)

I admit I'm pretty bad when it comes to story lines- but I know there are people that like to complete challenges just for the sake of completing them- various games have sidequests like that and are not much related to a story at all.

I was considering the same music in most cases but the music tends to halt very easily as it does not repeat itself- and a game with no music I find much less exciting compared to a game with various music. The same went with the backgrounds- one background throughout the game is good, but various ones seem to make it less dull for me.

To make music repeat, resave it as ambiance, then use it as ambiance, instead (don't replace standard ambiances, though, and save the ambiance in you world folder).

Really? I had no idea. I'm still sort of new to the whole level making- this is only my 3rd one actually.

I figured the 'absolute extreme' people would find something to do with trying to beat it. I know there are people that like challenges like that where they try to get through something without saving even once which is where the idea came from- in retrospect it isn't fun for most people though, but that's why there's the version with a lot of save points.
(PS: I can't even beat the version with no save points...but I imagine someone out there will one day do it.)

I love challenges, I do, but only if they are fun to do.
Here's an idea:
Let's say...You have 1000 points.
Run through the level. When you die, that's minus 5 point. If you use a save point, 10 points off.
Try to finish it as fast as possible while keeping your points up.

I think I'll try it...Someday.

That is actually a pretty nice idea- if I can learn more about the game maybe I can figure out how to put things like that in.

I'm not really good at coding or messing with sources- I've meant to take classes in that but I just don't find it that exciting to study such things.
(Then again...there's a forum for helping levels get made..perhaps I can go there..)
