The Island of a God is a classic platformer where you have to collect certain items within the various areas; the general structure is similar to that of Super Mario 64, only on a much smaller scale.
The game is fun, the controls are very good, the levels are well designed. It's pretty large for a freeware game, although it's certainly not as large as, say, An Untitled Story. It's also fairly forgiving: you have a health bar, and while some traps and enemies can almost deplete it with a single touch, your health slowly regenerates.
The graphics are nothing special, but they don't get in the way. The music... I'm sorry, I played this through Wine and the sound didn't work (but it did run smoothly and without issues). Definitely worth a look.
Warning: there is a bit of (unnecessary) swearing.

Thanks for this! It was terrible, but enjoyable none-the-less. Clever method to get to the final level ;)
