Hi people,
I am working on a much larger level at the moment known as "Legend of Gardon."
My point is this level is something I made when I got bored and well... Hope you like it. :)
It's medium to smallish.
-Plot-
Juni... A well known knytt is sent to a recently abandoned planet near her current homeworld. Her objective is to turn off the machine on said planet that is simply making to much noise. The planet is odd though. There is an abandoned research facility there. A volcanic area and a freezing cold plain.
Good luck and please note there is a less known technique that will be required for getting past lazers and certain area's. It is below. Click at your own will. ;)
Holding A down with the run gem so that you walk. meaning you can stand in between lazers
Scroll down for the new version.
The link is below now sorry! :)
I think this is a good level (I also had the pleasure of testing it shortly before release) :)
I got the Ice Queen ending, it seems there are several more. I'm not much of a 'replaying' person, so I haven't played it through again... I'm not sure I like the way it just takes your items and dumps you back at the start... somehow, it had less of a sense of closure than if it had just closed. Maybe it closes if you get the 'best' ending, I'm not sure.
Anyways, onto the level itself. It was enjoyable, with a solid difficulty. That you-see-the-umbrella-then-you-fall trick was evil. ;)
I wish the hold-A-to-walk thing had been forced in an official Nifflas level, as it's now all too easy to forget about it. I'm glad you had the courage to add it in.
A lot of default tilesets were used, but you used them well so I'm not complaining. I liked the relatively rare but effective use of COs. I'm not complaining about the music either.
Good job overall :)
Downloading now. :D
EDIT: Cool level, but, as previously said befrore, umbrella glitching and hologram glitching is possible in this level. :(
And it didn't inspirate me. X) Not much custom tilesets or music. :/
Nice level, but the endings gave no explanation of why the game ended, (the ice altar, the door in the volcano) which first is frustrating, and then the game removing all your upgrades was just plainly annoying.
