I just came up with a really cool thing to do in knytt stories its like a animated cut scene first you place a shift and make it teleport one screen down on touch. Then you then you place a shift on the screen and make that teleport down until you have a line of screens on your knytt level maker. then for each screen starting from the top place something so then when your playing you can hop into the teleporter and boom the ground explodes!!!! :D

I'm not entirely sure if I follow you, but if I do, and you suggest an animation in which you fall down and upon reaching the ground an explosion is seen, then it will be a bit laggy if you use shifts.

You might want to try using a custom object that animates the entire fall and explosion and use no_jump and sticky to time your movement into a touch shift and it'll look more natural.

well this level isn't done but if you try it jump on the red swimming tube and you'll see what i mean

Shift animations have been around for ages. It is still cool though.

Bleh.  I never have the patience for Shift Animations, but I've seen it used REALLY well.  Look at stuff like the Great Race or for something newer, Shipwrecked.  Both use Shift animation is interesting ways.
