Title: Summertime for EU notice
Post by: LPChip on March 24, 2012, 23:50:54
Just a reminder for those of us who're not in Europe, tonight at 2:00, the time in europe will shift ahead one timezone, example: from GMT+1 to GMT+2. It will be one hour later (thus one hour less sleep).

Perhaps its also a reminder for those in Europe, but their clock will most likely adjust and so they'll know. :)

Im guessing this is for daylight savings?
Unfortunately, there is not daylight savings where I am, but I really wish there was... It gets dark at about 5:00 during winter, which is really annoying  :/

@ Smeagle: I don't think anyone does daylight savings in the winter, so it would be of no help to you.

Gah, got that a bit mixed up! I have never really lived anywhere where daylight savings are used, so I do not really know too much about it .
I feel really silly now  :P2

Yeah, indeed, its for daylight savings.

Sun goes up one hour later and goes down one hour later which would mean that you have to turn on the lights one hour later which can mean to some people that they don't need to turn on the lights at all.
