Hope it's okay for me to post this here - I've been blogging about games this week under the broad label "Mythic Storytelling in Games", and today's post is about Knytt Underground. I just thought y'all might like to take a look, and have your obvious love of the game needlessly reinforced!

To rectify my earlier criminal activity on the contest thread you just won, I'll say it here as well: I really enjoyed I Dreamed of the Sky. A good story is one of the things that I look out for in game playing and this reminded me of reading Hugh Howey's WOOL series, so I got what I wanted. Nice challenges, just a really tidy effort all round.

I'm only taking my first steps at KS level designing so I'm no expert, and I've not played all the levels on this thread so it would be wrong to vote in any case, but I just wanted to say that I just finished playing through I Dreamed of the Sky and really enjoyed it. I'm a writer (unsuccessful for now) and a good story is one of the first things I look for in games, so this was a very satisfying level. It reminded me of Hugh Howey's WOOL series, which I would call a complement. Anyway, to Talps, well done from me!

Granted. But the reversal of the wish-granting paradigm undermines the closed reality of the thread, undoing all the granted wishes right back to the first one. Unfortunately reality is pre-deterministic, so the exact same chain of wishes and grantings plays out all over again, until your wish reverses it, but then it plays out again, until you reverse it... plays... reverses...

I wish for a window universe to open up that branches off along a new path.

After my struggle to get into the other one I assumed this would be a similar challenge - but was so easy! (after you told me...)

It's a great game, my hat's off to you. If there's a KS-style modding community in its future, I just can't wait.

Hi forum, I'm on my third playthrough now (first, random picks between Dora and Cilia for encounters, second all Dora, third all Cilia) and now I'm also picking up the little hidden things that I missed originally.

I basically know where Museum 2 is, even though I can't reach it yet (which is annoying, naturally) but Museum 1 is still a closed book... er, "educational resource" ...to me. Can anyone confirm or deny:

Saira / Game completed, very enjoyable, cookie monster want more cookie

After dl'ing Within A Deep Forest, Knytt, Knytt Stories and the Nightsky demo, I played and then paid up for Saira yesterday and finished it today. I think they are all real fun, and I'm okay handing over my cash despite the relative shortness of Saira - worth it to contribute to hopefully seeing more games in the future.

Like the last person to post a new thread, I was hoping to see more episodes so, while I'm disappointed that Nifflas isn't likely to provide any, I'm keeping my fingers crossed some of the fans get their own levels together as soon as possible!

Congrats to Nifflas for putting together some fun projects - and all power to his fan base...
