Title: Saira not showing up?

I'm having a rather bizarre problem with the game.  I can start the program and start a game just fine, but the title character is nowhere to be seen.screen cap (http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/8998/sairau.jpg)

Any thoughts on what's happening?

Low video RAM can cause some unexpected selective display like this.  See this topic:

Check the specs of your graphics card.

Drat. That's probably it. My video card is pretty old.

Are the minimum specs for the game listed anywhere?
