Title: [Physics Platformer] Wheelbox The Fallen Star
Post by: pip on July 18, 2011, 17:17:28
Here's a game that looks like NightSky and even plays a little like it, but you control a wheeled robot....

Pretty cool game so far. I love how you can stand on a box and move it around with your wheel. Crossing that heap of "dead" wheelboxes was... interesting. Apparently they, like some ants, give their lives to form bridges.

What are you talking about?  This game doesn't look anything like NightSky.

Ok sorry, I may have just lied.  I know I can't judge the game based on that screenshot alone, but I think analogously - and this seems like a bad pop song cover where they've copied the original track completely (namely NS) and added some dreadful rap over the top.

I'm sure that's far too harsh, but there's a reason why Nifflas is an acclaimed games designer and whoever made Wheelbox The Fallen Star is not.  Once again I say, I haven't played the game and therefore cannot judge it at all.  I just felt like expressing my opinion that originality is absolute key.

But guess what?  I <3 the name, it's brilliant.
