I just found out today that Photobucket, the image host I've been using for years, has been blocked by the Thai government, so I can't access it anymore. Same with Tinypic. Sometimes it sucks living in a pissant little 3rd-world country with an autocratic military regime.
If you guys could recommend a good image host, based on your personal experience with them, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! :)

imgur (http://imgur.com/) is fantastic; you can upload up to 5 pictures at once and there's lots of options for thumbnails and deletion links and such.

...and it's not blocked here. I just tried and it works like a charm. Thank you, Koromi! :)

Why the heck would someone block photobucket and tinypic?

Don't forget Imageshack (http://www.imageshack.com)!

If Photobucket and Tinypic are both blocked, I sincerely doubt that Imageshack isn't. (Frankly, it sucks anyway.)

Imagehost (http://www.imagehost.org/) is my personal favorite. No accounts or anything, up to 100MB per file, and it keeps a record of what you've uploaded unless you delete your cookies.

Awesome! Good to know that there are so many quality alternatives, in case the censors get ban-happy again. Thanks guys! :)

Yeah, I know. You'd be surprised how easy it is for any site to get on the nationwide blacklist here. If a site contains even a single pic that a censor could deem disrespectful towards the monarchy or military generals, the entire site is blocked. If the owner is in Thailand, they could be put in jail.
YouTube was dealt like this a while ago, and then it got unblocked, and blocked again and unblocked... meh. :/

Why don't you move? :U

Why don't you move? :U
Not a bad idea, actually. I've done exactly that twice already, but in both cases the situation was a lot worse than this. If things get worse here, I might consider it again. :)

Wait... you say you moved to a military regime of your own free will? O_o

Not really, I just switched from one to another (I left the US under the Bush administration).
Okay, seriously, the military took over after I moved here. Tanks were rolling on the streets just a few years ago. But that's a story for another time, and another thread.
I got plenty of image hosts, more than I'd hoped for - thanks again, guys! :)
