Title: What is nifflas' plan in future days, will be something new about knytt stories?
Post by: hjyx01 on July 09, 2009, 20:35:13: I wonder if nifflas have the plan of working on some levels of knytt stories,

or new version :)

There are many awesome levels made by the guys in the forum. C)

But if nifflas have the plan to make some level or new version of knytt stories, there will be exciting and fatastic :^^:

Post by: LPChip on July 09, 2009, 20:36:32: The only thing we know is that he started a project for an entirelly new game that has a bird. More information than that is not released and most likelly will not be either.

Not quite, he stated that when someone created a Movement Engine for the Custom Object support that was coded cleanly, worked efficiently, and he liked, he would releases a new version of KS with programmable Custom Objects, so they will work like normal objects.

Post by: LPChip on July 10, 2009, 10:42:09: It wasn't me who said that, but I do believe Nifflas isn't going to do much programming to KS anymore. But the source has been reveiled, so its not a problem to get things in the programming. See Knytt Stories Advanced as example.

That's exactly what he said. He said he wasn't working on it, but since the source was out, when someone made a proper engine he would just release a new version with the new CO engine.

Yeah... Bloxmaster should give it a go. It seems like I remember... Kasran, weren't you doing something along the lines of making an engine? It seems to me you mentioned it...

And it probably takes longer before you start to read and write properly.

With Construct and GM and MMF and such, it's not all that hard.

Deadly COs would be awesome though :P

With him being a game designer and all, and also the fact that he said that he would (http://nifflas.ni2.se/forum/index.php?topic=97.msg526#msg526), it's rather reasonable to come to that conclusion...
